Restore the child allowance
When the expanded Child Tax Credit was tried, child poverty fell to 5.2 percent in a single year. When it lapsed, poverty more than doubled. We ran the experiment. It worked. Bring it back, permanently.
2Universal healthcare, Medicare for All as the path
America spends double what peer countries spend and ranks last of ten in results. Cover everyone, comprehensively, for what we already pay. The accounting is in The Ledger.
3Pass the Right to Vote Act
Every other promise depends on a democracy that works. A statutory federal right to vote, built on what automatic registration already proved in Georgia, protects the foundation everything else stands on.
